This is quite crucial and you would not want to miss out on any point from Bailey and Love in the basics of surgery.
Urology, including Transplant (4 days):
Allocate 4 days to cover urology, including transplant. The recent edition of Bailey and Love’s Surgery should suffice. Additionally, consider referring to specific updates videos available for the 28th edition on the Surgtest app.
Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, CTVS, and Vascular (4 days):
For Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, and CTVS, Bailey and Love’s Surgery will be comprehensive enough. Allocate 4 days to cover these topics. However, for those aiming for top ranks, considering studying Vascular Surgery from Sabiston’s Textbook of Surgery can be advantageous. Watching surgtest videos can serve as a quick and efficient way to revise the topics. You can revisit specific sections whenever needed, aiding in better recall during the exam. Certain additional concepts in plastic surgery are covered in the videos, updates and MCQs. Don’t refer to any new textbooks at this time.
Miscellaneous Topics (1-2 days):
Use 1 to 2 days to cover miscellaneous topics that are not covered extensively in the aforementioned subjects. Additionally, consider reviewing our Bailey and Love videos to gain a better understanding of OBG (Obstetrics and Gynecology) and orthopaedics.Surgtest videos can be immensely beneficial for revising topics like Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBG) and orthopaedics, which may not carry as much weightage in the NEET SS examination.
